2008 – The Drive
First Client is Jack Nicklaus
Stepping out of the car in Los Cabos, Mexico never did I dream of being a marketing director for a large project with Jack Nicklaus and the Ritz Carlton residences.
With an office steps from the Pacific Ocean, she set out to do all things marketing for the new Jack Nicklaus golf course that would sweep the coastline.
Soon to realize this digital marketing thing could be the new way to reach customers.
The Invite
Invited to Google’s Offices
After being immersed in paid ads for about 10 years, Google reached out to invite Flo to their offices in sunny California. It was there she was asked to participate in BETA programs, and get the tour of their offices. Her fav was the yoga room with a close second the coffee bar!
From there Flo would be invited to Yahoo’s offices and Yelp’s headquarters in San Francisco.
The Radio Show
On the FM Dial
Out of a 1000 applicants, Flo was asked to co-host a radio show on the drive to work, Friday mornings.
There her and fellow co-host, Rob, would banter back and forth on the latest happenings of all-things business.

I became a certified Social Media Manager after taking courses that helped me finally understand how to use social media with intention—not just for posting, but for creating real results. Once I saw how it worked, I couldn’t keep it to myself. I started speaking, leading workshops, and training companies to build their presence online in a way that felt doable and aligned with their mission.

As my work grew, I had the opportunity to speak for organizations like Convene and Vistage, leading 4-hour training sessions on social media strategy. These weren’t your typical talks—I was teaching CEOs, top executives, upper management, and directors how to use social media as a business tool, not just a marketing buzzword.
It meant hopping on planes and flying across the country to speak at events, but every time, I saw the same thing: leaders leaning in, learning how to connect with their audience and build trust in a digital world. These experiences confirmed that when you combine clear strategy with real purpose, social media becomes a powerful tool for growth.
